Rustomjee’s Sensitivity Sensitive Saturday’s is the name of the noble initiative taken by Rustomjee International School under the guidance of respected Principal Mrs. Sahira Teerandaz, Supervisor Mrs. Kiran Verma and all the Std. X teachers, to encourage students especially of Std X to reach out and put a smile on the face of our Senior Citizens, who are deprived of simple joys of life due to unfortunate conditions. On the 25th of September 2010, 2 groups of Std X students accompanied by their teachers displayed their sensitivity. One group visited ‘Adhar’ the old age home in Borivali (East). They interacted with and entertained the seniors with a humourous skit coupled with games. The other group reached out to the senior citizens at ‘Roshni Grah’ Poinsur, in collaboration with ‘Help Age India’ and escorted them to School, to offer a fun filled day of singing and dancing. On the 9th of October 2010, the students continued to add more smiles by offering a one day out!
